Post by KirkPost by Bueller555I know that it'll be a while since their billing problems are still
being resolved, but has anyone heard if HT will be offering FiOS? Or
is that a Verizon-only thing? I hear that Time-Warner is rolling out
speeds of 7000/512 to certain markets.
Time Warner has offered an 8Mbps/1Mbps connection to customers in the
Great Lakes and New England areas for over a year. Hawaiian Telco does
not have the capability to even dream about FIOS because of
infrastructure. Their billing department is still screwed up and
staffed by a bunch of morons after four months of trying to learn the
software.
So does anyone thing 7000 is a realistic possibility?
I remember when 5000 came up and there were posts that stated Hawaii
RR said NO to implementing that here. Then suddenly a few months later
it happened with no announcement.
The only reason I doubt it here is that HDTV signals etc seem to have
a lot more problems lately. I dont know if its just my connection or
if its not indicative of overload but sometimes the picture breaks up
and slows down.
