The spammers are ruining the newsgroups.
All of them should be broiled alive on a rotissary until their insides
burst from within their slimy hides.

But... even if you did make huli-huli spammer, who'd wanna eat it?

...and you're just now noticing? Give me directions to the large rock you
lived under for the past several years; I want to move.

I have been watching it slowly overtake the newsgroups for several years
now. I just felt like venting at the time and there were no other posts.

The rock I live under is called Haleakala, BTW.

Since I signed up for my ISPs service to remove SPAM from my e-mail and
newsgroups, I hardly see any in the newsgroups. More ISPs need to adopt that
policy. KM

Mauna Loa bigger than Haleakala? Definately:

Mauna Loa ("long mountain") with an elevation of 13,677 feet is the largest
volcano on earth as well as the densest and most massive mountain on the
planet. This active volcano is 60 miles long and 30 miles wide. The total
mass of Mauna Loa is a gargantuan 24,000 cubic miles, equal to that of the
entire Sierra Nevada Range.

Is is really the densest? ("Light" lava rock, cracks while cooling,
essentially a humongous stack o' building blocks... I'd've thought other
kinds of mountains would be denser.)

The amount of weight on the largest mountain in the world is immense,
compacting it and making it denser? KM

Well, I live "under" Mt. Ka'ala. And it may not be so big *now*, but
once upon a time...

I have been doing something about it for ... almost a decade now.
Granted, my area of expertise is confined to just one group.
