I'm looking for others already engaged in, or wanting to start an open
source initiative at the state law level. The goal will be to field
some kind of bill next session that would increase the use of open
source software in Hawaii state government. Part of what needs to be
done is to analyze the existing laws for open source "friendliness"
and build on that.

If there are others already working on this, I'd like to participate
in the writing of it. If not, I'd like to collect contact information
for others that would like to participate. When enough momentum is
achieved, It can presented it at one of the "Pizza" forums at UHM.

Thanks,
